Debian GNU/Linux 10 (Buster) LTS support will be discontinued on June 30, 2024. Debian will not release any additional security updates for Debian 10, and only a subset of buster packages will be supported by third parties. The Debian LTS Team will switch to Debian 11, taking over support in August. Debian 11 will have Long Term Support until June 30, 2026.

Darktable Nightly Build 20240504 is available for testing. The nightly build enables users to test new features without having to wait for official releases. It eliminates existing bugs and adds complex code, but stability may suffer. New versions may alter database schemas, thus using a different library. AppImage is compatible with glibc 2.35 or later releases. The *.AppImage.zsync file includes technical data.
